Lone Boat

Georgetown, SC  © Doug Hickok

A small skiff is docked near Harborwalk in Georgetown,
South Carolina. Some historians believe that Georgetown
is the site of North America's first European settlement.
Called San Miguel de Guadalupe,
it was founded by the Spanish in 1526,
but lasted only a very short time.

  1. Very beautiful. The black&white in your photos are of very high quality! It looks like the boat is floating above the water ;-)

  2. Lovely. The monochromatic hue seem to highlight the boat more.
