For a person who relishes rocks and their rockiness, like me, this is striking it rich! Wishing you a weekend full of little treasures. Thought I'd start something new also. Calling it Favorite Photographers Friday, I'll post a link to photographers whom I admire or who have influenced my work to a certain degree over time. Today's favorite is Eliot Porter, one of the first to photograph landscapes in color. |

We're on the same page, Doug, when it comes to such treasures. In fact, I am known to pick up a rare specimen from time to time that catches my eye and take it home for my collection. Vancouver Island was a jackpot, as I recall!

ReplyDeleteA fine collection of beach stones. On one Oregon beach among all of these is an occasional agate that can be polished to semi-gem quality...makes the search more intensive! :-) Nice post.
