Not far from where I live there is a small suburban park that I visit regularly. I enjoy watching the wildlife in the wetlands, and on this misty morning,
I spotted a Great Egret hunting for a fishy breakfast.

Fog and mist is wonderful for expert photographers like you Doug. It creates magic with light revealing layers that would otherwise remain unseen.
ReplyDeleteLove those misty blues. The Great Egret is just beginning to appear from time to time in the UK and still causes some excitement among birders.
ReplyDeletevery nice work! :)
ReplyDeleteA fine image from this local park. This shot has a wonderful mood about it. Excellent capture.
ReplyDeleteWonderful image Doug, can see it as a watercolour painting.
ReplyDeleteI hope the egret caughts all the fish it needed for breakfast, before anyone could catch him! ;-)
