Texas Backwater

Sunlight filtering through trees shines on a backwater creek at

 McKinney Falls State Park, Austin. Prehistoric reptiles swam in 
shallow seas which once covered much of Texas in the 
Cretaceous Period (145 to 66 million years ago).
