An offering of images from Charleston, South Carolina, and travels elsewhere.
Great framing Doug... i like the textures... angles and the shadows in the wall....peter:)
I'll bet this wall has been standing for many years.
I once came across an exhibition of paintings which were all of stone walls - the colours and textures were amazing. This photo would sit well amonst those other works of art.
Love the stone texture, a creative beautiful wall!Wonderful picture!Léia
Well chosen image section and wonderful abstract pattern.
These are real art work, which I admired in different other countries.
Ultra graphic, the texture is wonderful !
Two great jobs, the wall and your photo, jjjGreetings.
I like a lot, Doug. The edition is great. The textures , and BN are great.Good shot!
Beautiful and interesting alignments. Nice texture and bw too
at first look it didn't feel too massive but then it's there for over a hundred years...
those shakers were people of many talents!!! as are you, with your varied photography, all of it exceptionally attractive.dry walls building is definitely an art that needs to be mastered !
Wonderful to see a craft from the "Old World" practised in the "New". I thought you'd made a quick visit over to Ireland for a moment!
What might appear to be limited subject matter to some eyes has been turned into a very powerful image by you, Doug, with your skilful treatment of it!
it sure is impressive, i like how you chose to render it this way too.
