Wonderful Warm tones, would love to wander in these woods
It might be long but wouldn't you just love to walk the whole thing over time!
Great photo of this maze of trees, beautifully composed & captured! The long walk north sounds very appealing to me.
Nice picture with almost disturbing atmosphere !
wow movie scenery!Spectacular image!Léia
Great colour and serene atmosphere. I love the depth to the photograph with the details on the tree at the front drifting to the dense forest beyond.
Doug, Come walk the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania--notorious for being the roughest section of the entire trail. I don't think there's a smooth section of the trail like this in PA except where the trail comes out of the mountains and follows roads for a short distance. Most of our part of the trail is an ankle-turner.
i love how you present the majesty of this spruce forest, doug! after hiking them extensively last fall i'm a "sucker" for their beauty ...
I love it! A spring walk, the promise of summer...
For me, it's a magical and wonderful place. One of those places, that we just see in the movies.
So unfair that the US States are so great. ;o)So many yak's years will it take for me to walk from coast to coast? You have a good weekend. It's gonna be another grey day here tomorrow. :(
If you're gonna do the walk then a read of "A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail" by Bill Bryson will entertain, amuse and inform. Meanwhile an excellent image.
i expect red riding hood to appear :)
it's not somewhere i'd like to get lost in but it sure looks nice.. :)
This is a great illustation of the difference! Perfect composition, as always!Have a nice day.
