Despite it being December,
flowers still bloom in Charleston gardens,

brightening the feel of the day.

  1. ah, you have me dreaming of spring.

  2. what a lovely sight. When I woke up everything was covered in 15 cm of snow. But I don't complain as I could go skiing :)

  3. Hello, old chum!
I did indeed go to the seaside.
But I didn't see your ship at the sea thou, you see.
Maybe the world is really flat?

  4. This is a beautiful scene Doug... but did you have to rub it in!!!... your Canadian friend from of the the land of northern snow....peter:)

  5. That flower arrangement looks like a burst of Spring sunshine to brighten your Winters day

  6. I just love the way the semi circles are litter throughout the shot, and those exquisite blooms. Oh! what a delight - Charleston really is a 'garden city'.

  7. Beautiful yellows and earth tones everywhere! I'm jealous!

  8. NIcely composed! There's a cool weather in your country!
    Have a nice day.

  9. Doug, if we wanted to use this image in a print brochure promoting the city's fall home tours, might we receive permission from you to do that? We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and all proceeds raised from the fall tours go right back into supporting our preservation initiatives here in Charleston. We would be happy to credit you and your website in the brochure. Please let me know. Thank you!
