At the entrance to Dock Street Theatre, a row of S-shaped brackets await patrons who come to see plays or concerts. The old theatre is in the French Quarter, so called for the Huguenots who settled the area in the 18th century.

The question is whether such ornate ostentation means the programs within are superior to those help in more plain building. I dunno.

I came across some buildings built by them in Canterbury.
I like the crisp detail and the elegant repeating elements. Ihe diagonal shadow is also a nice element. I think the image would look better in a squarer crop, as the whole lower right is unimportant to the rest of the image.
