A few early autumn leaves fall to the ground in Charleston's Waterfront Park. This weekend heralds the official beginning of autumn in North America.
But here in the Lowcountry we still have about a month of warm weather left until it really begins to feel like fall.
In the meantime, happy autumnal equinox to all, and to all a cool crisp day!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs, autumn colours also have much charm. I am greeting
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite time of the year, Doug! We have sycamore trees surrounding much of our citadel's city center here in the Netherlands. Also chestnut trees! I feel like I'm in heaven.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, strong composition and colours which still seem warm.
ReplyDeleteLike many others this is my favorite time of year. It still gets warm in the day with us but I've been enjoying the cold mornings and evenings. :0)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Doug! Days are cooler now (at last, after a hot-hot summer) and I prepare myself for my favourite part of the year:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. Just love the colour contrasts.
ReplyDeleteWelcome autumn. I like this season and it's colors
ReplyDeleteThank you Doug
ReplyDeleteCool colors :)
Shalom! Today is the International Day of Peace (9/21/12) May you and all countries know and enjoy peace.
ReplyDeleteMay you have a peaceful week-end!
PS. I will gladly wait for fall weather.
The bright leaves decorating the green grass and the reflecting water are nice additions to this perspective study.
ReplyDeletecool pattern and great mood
ReplyDeletePark przy morzu, cudownie. Jest niestety jesień i liście spadają z drzew. Zdjęcie jest piękne. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeletePark by the sea, wonderful. It is, unfortunately, autumn and the leaves fall from the trees. The picture is beautiful. Yours.
A month of warm weather - I'm so envious - I'd be happy with a month of good weather any time during the (so-called) summer. But my envy can't distract from this superb shot of perspectives...
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective, so well composed: the reflection on the right is trully a great find!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
it's getting really weird here too, one day really cold then the next day, really warm.. :D i wish mother nature made up her mind.. :)
