Wise words to live by.
Lions are known to sleep a lot... they need rest from their vigorous hunting activities. They are also known to sleep in front of homes and public buildings... they make intimidating guardians. But lions are best known for their fierce temper... So it is best to let sleeping lions lie, even if they are only made of stone.

I like the alliteration in the title today.

I love it, Doug. All of it. :D
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt that the subject is fabulous but you do have the ability to make it magical both in the image and also your "quirky" text. Keep 'em coming Doug. Bravo!

ReplyDeleteI wander: could they still guard if they are sleeping?! I like this composition, Doug! Also the iron work of the gate behind.
