What a country! Don't have animals from wilds of Africa? We'll just build some. Great series Doug; it really screams Americana and I love it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome closeups!. So, do you wake up early to get these great photos. From the light and color, I would guess your photography starts early morning. I might be wrong. :)
ReplyDeleteThe latter attracts my attention because I play golf and I love. Others are great fun, they are animals that have nothing to fear from the guns of hunters on safari
ReplyDeleteA fun series Doug. It all made sense in the end. Congrats to Becky.
ReplyDeleteVery cool series Doug!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
what a safari you've taken us on. this must have been a delightful game of golf.
ReplyDeleteLove the whimsical animal sculptures. Fine job with pieces of animals.
ReplyDeleteWho said photography had to be a serious hobby? Fun shots to share, as I'm sure they were to take.
ReplyDeleteA fun blog Doug. I too lived in California, most of my life, and am now settled in Upstate NY. I will come back often. I read your comment on Melissa's blog today. She does such a great job in what could seem a barren area. Nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteI should have known! I was trying to figure out where all these animals could be located. Mini-golf! Of course!
ReplyDeleteGood grief, I haven't played mini-golf in years. Played regular golf this morning, though. Well, I should say I went out and tried to hit the ball. Not a good day on the golf course. :-)
My eyes first caught at the clever composition with the cloud and the giraffe on your first image, but when I scroll down, I thought the dynamic perspective of the elephant and the zebra are awesome too!
ReplyDeleteVery funny animals.. :D
ReplyDeleteWell, next time you will win! You call this kind of golf "putputgolf", it sounds very nice. We call it "minigolf".
Safari z takimi zwierzętami jest chociaż bezpieczne. Pomysłowa seria bardzo ładnych zdjęć. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteSafari with such animals is even safe. An ingenious series of very nice pictures. Yours.
Looks like a fun place to visit, and play.
