Conveyances

The calmness of Shem Creek is momentarily disrupted by the passing of a pair of watercraft. The kayak and the motor boat, in conjunction with the docked shrimp boat, are examples of nautical conveyances typically found on Lowcountry tidewaters.

What you will not find in these waters is the infamous Yellow Submarine or Captain Ahab's Pequod.

    happy birthday, bucko, from vermont. doug chose an exquisite image to mark your day. we've bought our tickets, doug, and will be down in charleston the weekend of march 9-11. can you recommend a place to stay in the historic district? something affordable with a bit of character?

    The sky is amazing and the little be of light on the shrimp boats makes this picture stand out. The colours are just so beautiful. Great work!
