San Marco Sunday - Dream World

By day Venice is a riotous carnival of tactile delights,
where day light seeks to illuminate every color and form.
But by night, Venice is a muted dream world of ancient vintage,
where imagination seeks to illuminate every shape and shadow.

    Very evocative and with a strong visual impact thanks to this golden colour and the contrast the the black sky. This architecture is so rich and extraordinary but I also like the sight of the frescoes on the arches. A good tribute to this famous church.

    Aaahhh, memories... Great that you got this at night. Fabulous contrast with that black sky. I didn't get out too much at night since #1 it didn't get dark until pretty late, and #2 by that time my son had had enough of me photographing things!
