Throwback Thursday - Taking Chances

Sometimes in life you have to take chances. You have to ignore caution, overcome fears, break out of your self-imposed comfort zone.
Sometimes you have to put away your "stop sign",
and charge full speed ahead.

    Love this image, Doug. There is something about windows that capture my interest a lot. Your mention of Kodachrome reminds me of the Paul Simon song...'Kodachrome..You give us those nice bright colors, You give us the greens of summers, Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah! I got a Nikon camera, I love to take a photograph, So Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away!' Had to give you some lyrics to compliment your vintage image!

    i love everything that has to do with windows, doors and doorways in photography, and this is a remarkable image, doug! is the blueish tone a result of the aging process of the slide, or is it the authentic color?!?

    Great color and composition. What do you mean "seems like" ancient technology. You probably had to focus it yourself, meter it separately, or at least match needle to the shutter or apeture you selected. Barely one step above doping the glass negative yourself. LOL.
