Misty weather diffuses light to create ideal circumstances for recording textures and tones, as in these lichen spotted rocks along the New Brunswick coast.
That there is a delicious progression of sharp, contrasty detail in the foreground to flat, grey shapes in the back. It's very reminiscent of the classic Chinese landscape style. Very nice and a perfect choice for mono treatment.
