All Saints Chapel, San Luis, Colorado

This desert scene could be mistaken for somewhere in Spain or Mexico, but it is in San Luis, the oldest town in Colorado. The influence of early Spanish settlers can clearly be seen.
A winding path journeys past bronze statues depicting the Stations of the Cross, one of which can be seen in front of the church.

Gorgeous setting, especially the colors.
ReplyDeleteVery nice framing. I like the color of these stones of lava of the foreground
ReplyDeleteAngle and composition are very well chosen here. Giving the foreground more space in the frame impressively emphasizes the ‘rocky path to bliss’.
ReplyDeleteI like the matching between the color of the boulders and that of the church towers.
ReplyDeleteLovely churchnand beautiful terrain in the foreground
ReplyDeletePięknie na wzgórzu wygląda. Śliczne zdjecie. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful on the hill. Cute picture. Yours.
Interesting... I don't know what it is, but there's indeed something very Spanish about this church...
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

You´ve defined perfectly the influence of the spanish culture in this church in Colorado.
