I love to search out
Charleston's many intriguing details, some of which are more striking after sunset when the city lights come on. These two classical faces gaze from the shadows of 19th century commercial facades along Meeting Street.

  1. Since posting a photo a day I tend to look up much more than I used to. Never want to miss a photo opportunity. There is a parallel to be made between your photo of faces and my post today.

  4. I too am afflicted by a love for architectural detail and, after photographing it, often look away from the camera to see people looking quizzically in the direction the camera is pointing, trying to figure out what I'm photographing! Never fails to make me smile.

This is a great example. I like how the hues work together and the way you've made the shot very dynamic with the strong diagonal and placing the main subject way up in the top left. Another enjoyable interpretation of your city.
