Azalea Clusters

Clusters of red azaleas poke through openings in a wrought iron fence to greet walkers. Azaleas were first brought from Japan to the United States in the 1800's to Magnolia Gardens, just up the river from Charleston. Today many varieties flourish throughout the Lowcountry.

  4. Good to be greeted azaleas through an iron fence the way they always look like water. Thanks for your input didactic with photos recently were surprised that I knew what was Spanish moss, I learned it on my blog.
