A Hint of Fall

A few early autumn leaves fall to the ground in Charleston's Waterfront Park. This weekend heralds the official beginning of autumn in North America.

But here in the Lowcountry we still have about a month of warm weather left until it really begins to feel like fall.

In the meantime, happy autumnal equinox to all,
and to all a cool crisp day!

  3. This is my favorite time of the year, Doug! We have sycamore trees surrounding much of our citadel's city center here in the Netherlands. Also chestnut trees! I feel like I'm in heaven.

  5. Like many others this is my favorite time of year. It still gets warm in the day with us but I've been enjoying the cold mornings and evenings. :0)

  11. The bright leaves decorating the green grass and the reflecting water are nice additions to this perspective study.

  12. Park przy morzu, cudownie. Jest niestety jesień i liście spadają z drzew. Zdjęcie jest piękne. Pozdrawiam.
Park by the sea, wonderful. It is, unfortunately, autumn and the leaves fall from the trees. The picture is beautiful. Yours.

  13. A month of warm weather - I'm so envious - I'd be happy with a month of good weather any time during the (so-called) summer. But my envy can't distract from this superb shot of perspectives...
