The Midas Touch

Columns of the ancient Pantheon
, the color of aging florins, adorn the Piazza della Rotonda on a golden Roman night, where everything seems transformed by the touch of Midas.

  2. While everyone was busy capturing the celestial doughnut,
you found the unsung heroes of golden churros.
Both served great with chocolate, of course. ;o)

I remember Dickens mentioned Dover in A Tales of Two Cities.
TWo months ago, I visited Rochester.
It's a little town but it has quite a lot to offer.
Lots of Dickens related stuff to see there.

  10. This is a perfect example of creativity. It is a perfect picture and I know the location but would not have recognised it. When I read where it was, I could see me standing on the same spot. Thanks for sharing.

    Greetings,
    Filip

  16. I normally dislike the effects of sodium lights, but, there's always the exception - and this one works superbly.
