  1. What a country! Don't have animals from wilds of Africa? We'll just build some. Great series Doug; it really screams Americana and I love it!

  2. Awesome closeups!. So, do you wake up early to get these great photos. From the light and color, I would guess your photography starts early morning. I might be wrong. :)

  3. The latter attracts my attention because I play golf and I love. Others are great fun, they are animals that have nothing to fear from the guns of hunters on safari

  8. Who said photography had to be a serious hobby? Fun shots to share, as I'm sure they were to take.

  9. A fun blog Doug. I too lived in California, most of my life, and am now settled in Upstate NY. I will come back often. I read your comment on Melissa's blog today. She does such a great job in what could seem a barren area. Nice to meet you.

  10. I should have known! I was trying to figure out where all these animals could be located. Mini-golf! Of course!

Good grief, I haven't played mini-golf in years. Played regular golf this morning, though. Well, I should say I went out and tried to hit the ball. Not a good day on the golf course. :-)

  11. My eyes first caught at the clever composition with the cloud and the giraffe on your first image, but when I scroll down, I thought the dynamic perspective of the elephant and the zebra are awesome too!

Well, next time you will win! You call this kind of golf "putputgolf", it sounds very nice. We call it "minigolf".
