The early Spring blooms continue here in Charleston. On a stroll through parts of the historic district, I discovered plenty of flowers and warm hues to grab my eye.

  4. Miraculous spring set.
    Beautiful colors and architecture.
But I like most about the first photo. It looks like a done not only in early spring, but even in the ancient worlds. Beautiful details and blurred background.
    I envy such a beautiful spring ;-)

  9. You are so lucky to have these gorgeous blooms already, Doug. Of course, when I lived in Atlanta for 25 years, it was the same. We're still in the low 30s temp-wise but at least we've had lots of sun the last few days. The warmer days will be here before we know it.

  11. Those flowers and trees are amazing! Especially the last tree, so full of flowers, no leaf yet! I love the blooming period. In my country, Romania, is still winter. I have a cottage in the countryside and yesterday I saw there the buds on magnolias. But it is still time to the blooming...

  19. Beautiful images, every one -- but if forced to pick, I'd go for the last shot, for it's luminous look and feeling of depth.
