    the sparkling sunlight and the dark wood work well in monochrome, and the perspective - leading you to the end of the jetty - is very inviting!

    A beautyful but also a little horrific picture. The view together with the extensive blackness gives me associations to the 50's horror movies by Alfred Hitchcock... or maybe Ingmar Bergman (Swedish filmmaker).
    A great picture it is, however!

    Excellent contrast -- I like the thin layer of water on the jetty and the reflection it provides. Great alliteration too!
