Dear lobsters,
Do not be tempted by these lovely designer colors.
You may think that getting away from the mirky sea bottom and rising to the heights above the sea is progress... success.  You may have even heard of a process that will turn your shell from dreary and dull to a stunning shade of red and of bathing in fragrant  liquids.  DO NOT BE FOOLED!  Trust me... There's no place like home!

  2. Great shot Doug and i loved your advice to the lobsters... it was nice of you to cc... Dorothy and Toto... i first saw these traps on Deer Island in Maine eight years ago... they are very colourful when stacked ten high in the sunlight:-)....peter:)

  12. this is a lobster trap with a sense of style, reaching out to like-minded lobsters! but as your warning letter says, beware of the trappings of fashion (pun intended)!
